Single Bet

Placing a back or lay bet using Betting Toolkit is extremely simple. If you're in the Grid interface, which is structured similarly to the one on the Betfair website, to place a bet, simply click on one of the cells with a blue (back bet) or pink (lay bet) background, which displays the odds and the available funds for that odds. The best matchable back odds are the ones to the left of the WoM column, while the best lay odds are the ones to the right of the same column. If the "Confirm" option in the top right of the Betting Toolkit main window is enabled, the Confirm Bet window will open. In addition to the back and lay odds for the desired selection, you can confirm or modify the bet parameters before it is actually placed on the market. If the parameters are not changed, the bet is placed on the market with the pre-selected stake and odds. Otherwise, at this stage, you can change the bet type by choosing one of the other available options: lay, back/lay trading, lay/back trading, back/lay immediately, or lay/back immediately.

In the Bet Confirmation window, you can set the persistence (None or Keep) and enable the option to cancel bets previously placed on the market but not yet matched.

During this bet confirmation stage, the initially selected odds can also be changed, either by entering the value manually or by having the program automatically set them from the live odds by checking "Live Odds."

At the bottom of the Bet Confirmation window, you'll find a summary table indicating the profit or loss for each selection following the bet you're about to place on the market.

Bets can also be placed easily from the ladder interface: to place your bet or lay bet immediately, simply click on one of the empty blue or pink boxes (for bets and lays, respectively) to the right of the odds column. After clicking on the desired odds, if the "Confirm Bet" function is active, the corresponding window will open, containing all the available options described above.

Trading Mode

When activating trading mode, the program sets up a closing bet to exit the market with a profit at a predefined distance in ticks. This bet is not sent to the market immediately, but only once the main bet has been executed. If the main bet is partially executed, the corresponding portion of the counter bet will be placed.

In trading mode, by activating the Smart option, the counter bet amount will be automatically calculated to balance the profit across the various outcomes. In practice, once the trade is closed, you will find yourself with the same profit regardless of the outcome of the match.
