Back / Lay Spread Range Condition

Updated on 2026-09-07

This Condition allows you to set a constraint on the size of the spread in the order book, i.e. the number of ticks separating the Best Available Back Odds from the Best Available Lay Odds.

Two consecutive odds on the Ladder have a spread of 0 (zero). For example, if the Best Available Back Odds are 1.07 and the Best Available Lay Odds are 1.08, the spread is zero. In other words, the spread corresponds to the number of empty cells between the Best Available Back Odds and the Best Available Lay Odds on the Ladder.

You must specify a criterion for identifying the selection on which the spread is to be measured.

You can instruct Betting Toolkit to exclude your own bets when evaluating the spread.

A spread Condition can also be evaluated using the Formula Condition.
