Market Window Buttons

Updated on 2024-07-25

In the upper bar of the Market Window, starting from the top left, we find the following buttons:

    Market Options: allows you to quickly choose whether to show or hide the grid's stake buttons and the preset odds type for cash out operations in the current market.

    Clear All: allows you to cancel all unmatched bets or lays placed on the market. If there are no unmatched bets, the button is inactive. To the right of the button, there is a downward arrow that opens a menu for targeted cancellation of pending bets related to trading operations: Trade Closures, Stop Loss, and Conditional Bets.

    Apply Strategy: opens the window for applying automatic strategies. Details and explanations about the Betting Toolkit Automation can be found in the extensive chapter dedicated to it.

    Multiple Bet: opens a dropdown menu showing two specific functions: Multiple Back and Multiple Lay. In the Functions chapter, you will find all the details and explanations for each of them.

    Dutching: opens a dropdown menu with two specific functions: Dutching Back and Dutching Lay, for which we refer to the Functions chapter for all details and explanations.

    Charts: through this button, you access a menu that leads to two types of charts, market charts and candlestick charts. The first option allows you to open the real-time chart of the active market in a window. This type of chart, unlike the one at the bottom of the Ladder that shows the trend of the odds since the market was added to the Betfair schedule, starts being plotted from the moment the window is opened and is especially useful when the event is in play. For all details and options regarding the Betting Toolkit Charts, we refer to the Functions chapter where a dedicated paragraph is available.

    Lineups: if live data and lineups are available, this button accesses the table with the teams' lineups and some details such as goals, cards, and substitutions.

    Selection Details: opens a window with a table containing very interesting data for each selection part of the opened market. In the various columns, we find:
        the list of selections, each highlighted with its distinctive color;
        the value of the last traded odds (LTO);
        when the last trade occurred with the indication of date, time, minutes, and seconds;
        the value of the lowest traded odds with the indication of date, time, minutes, and seconds;
        the available money for all back odds (AVTB - Available to Back);
        the best back odds (BO);
        the best lay odds (LO);
        the available money for all lay odds (AVTL - Available to Lay);
        the value of the highest traded odds with the indication of date, time, minutes, and seconds;
        the value expressed in euros of the trades, that is, how many back and lay bets have been matched (Volume).

Lower Button Bar

Other available buttons can be found at the bottom right where we have the button with the market's summary information, the button to add the opened market to the Market Monitor, the button to add it to the Favorites list, the button to sort the selections by position (from most favored to least favored), the button to center all ladders, the button to detach the market window from the main program window, and the button to save the log of the operations performed on the active market into a text file.
