Stop Loss

Updated on 2024-07-25

The Stop Loss function is activated via the "SL" button located at the top right of the main window in Betting Toolkit. After activation, you need to open the related window to set various parameters that will allow the program to place a closing bet for the trade once the desired number of ticks has been reached. For Stop Loss, you need to set the number of ticks that trigger it and the number of ticks at which Betting Toolkit should place the closing trade bet in the market to automatically limit the loss.

By enabling the Smart Bets option in Stop Loss, the loss will be evenly distributed among the various selections in the market you are operating in. With the Chase Price option, the program will adjust the pending Stop Loss bets to the changing value of the market odds.

In the Stop Loss parameter settings window, you can also set the number of seconds for the Fill or Kill function. This Betting Toolkit feature allows you to cancel a placed but unmatched bet in the market after a certain number of seconds have passed. The Fill or Kill function can be activated by clicking on the hourglass icon in the main program window.
