Nodes of Conditions

Updated on 2024-07-25

Conditions are organized into logical nodes that express the required relationship between the conditions or the nodes that compose them. A node can contain conditions or other nodes. This way, conditions can be nested into complex tree structures to express intricate logic. When you start setting up a new strategy, an initial empty condition node is created with the relationship between the conditions set to AND.

Conditions and any other nodes will be inserted into this node. Each node can be seen as a kind of folder containing other nodes and conditions. For a node to be verified, the conditions and nodes within it must meet the set logical condition.

By double-clicking on a node or right-clicking and choosing the Edit menu item, you can select the logical relationship that binds the elements within the node.

When setting the AND link, all contained conditions or nodes must be verified.
When setting the OR link, at least one of the nodes or conditions must be verified.

It is possible to set different links by specifying the minimum and maximum number of elements that must be verified for the node itself to be considered verified.
